About Us

Honoring a Legacy of Service and Compassion

Who We Are

The Dickens Sanomi Foundation (DSF) was founded on October 18, 2012, by Igho Charles Sanomi II and his siblings in honour of their father, Chief Dickens Ogheneruemu Patrick Sanomi, a retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police whose life embodied discipline, integrity, and service to humanity.

Born from these values, DSF is committed to empowering individuals and communities to define and lead their own progress. Through education, healthcare, community relief, and youth development, the Foundation promotes sustainable, inclusive change that transforms lives with dignity and purpose.

Over the years, DSF’s work has touched countless lives—students, families, and vulnerable individuals—proving that compassion and accountability can drive lasting development.
